Jordan was only a few weeks into this world when I had the opportunity to visit and photograph him and his family.
While that shot above was when he was at his posed finest I feel that some of the best shots are what’s going on during our session. Pictures of his mom getting him ready, his brothers hanging out with their dad, the grandparents getting into the session, etc. All of these small moments in time will be cool to look back on when he’s older.
I met this family at a wonderful secluded spot in Eastlake (shhh, I’m not telling) for a fun session. We did a little of everything from the traditional to journalistic to getting some air shots. A totally awesome time!
If you’re following my work you’ll know I photograph a lot of families with small boys. I can honestly say that young boys have a thing about sticks. When we’re shooting at a park I guarantee you that someone will find a stick and immediately turn into a swashbuckling Jedi. So I was pleased to see that high schoolers also like sticks. However, the sticks they pick up are much larger. LOL!
