Everyone had a fabulous time at Laila’s First Birthday Party at Terra Nova Park in Chula Vista. It was one of those rare Southern California weather events as hurricane Delores unleashed thunder, lighting and over an inch of rain in one day. However, as the afternoon wore on the clouds parted a bit and we finished strong. It’s a good thing Laila’s parents secured the big gazebo!

For the second year I had the opportunity to photograph Grace Notes Choir Fall Benefit Concert. It was held at the outdoor performance area at Palisades Presbyterian Church in Allied Gardens. What is Grace Notes Choir? Here I’ve pasted something from their website: “Grace Notes is a concert choir comprised of girls in Heritage Christian School in 7th – 12th grade.* Our mission is to further the musical education of our daughters, as well as to provide the opportunity for performance and Choral Festival competitve events. Our primary musical focus is Christian music, including classical, gospel, worship and contemporary.”
Palisades Presbyterian Church provides an outstanding performance area where throngs of Grace Notes Choir fans came to watch and listen. Here are some highlight images from that shoot.
