Recently Korean actor and model Kim Joong Youl visited San Diego and I had the opportunity to spend a few hours photographing him in downtown San Diego and Coronado. What a wonderful person to photographer and – I’ll tell ya – he was very confident in-front of the camera. I love it when all I need to do is find a spot and my subject falls into the right look at the right moment. Totally stoked on this shoot. The challenge was that – due to time limitations – we could only shoot from 11am until the early afternoon. High noon – in San Diego – in the summer – is always fun so I went looking for some cool SHADED spots. Of course, that trolley shot had to be taken and I think we got a pretty good one! 🙂 Here are some highlights from our time.
