Imperial Beach, California. An iconic city which conjures up images of endless summers and surfing. This town is known as Classic Southern California. However, just a tad bit inland is an epic location known as the Tijuana River Estuary. An intertidal coastal wetland at the mouth of the Tijuana River and photographed at the right angles would lead one to believe we were in the middle of nowhere.
