Imperial Beach, California. An iconic city which conjures up images of endless summers and surfing. This town is known as Classic Southern California. However, just a tad bit inland is an epic location known as the Tijuana River Estuary. An intertidal coastal wetland at the mouth of the Tijuana River and photographed at the right angles would lead one to believe we were in the middle of nowhere. It was here where I photographed Valerie & Joe’s Engagement Session. Check out the highlights.

Alex & Holly’s Engagement

These two told me they met while playing for the San Diego Surge women’s football team and – also – there would be some football themes incorporated into their wedding. Erin & Justin in San Diego

With their wedding fast approaching Erin, Justin and I headed into the City of San Diego for Engagement Session Episode II. A few months ago Episode 1 was at San Diego’s Balboa Park and we were having such a great time there we never made into the city. Fear Not my friends because we made up for that and here are the highlights. What was cool was ending up at Morton’s Steakhouse for awesome martinis, awesome conversation and – of course – cool photos.

Erin & Justin’s Balboa Park Engagement

Part One. Yes, you heard that right ‘Part One’. We’d planned to start at Balboa Park – for their Balboa Park Engagement session – and then head to downtown San Diego for Part Two. However, it got cold and – honestly – we cannot solely blame it on some chilly weather (even though the clouds were promising some kind of rain fall). No, actually we we’re having such a good time at Balboa Park we out ran out of time! Alas, we are currently scheduling Part Two but for now here are some highlights from Part One! Enjoy.

Because I’m all about photobombing my own shot when an iPhone is used to perfect tying ones own tie. Shhh! We all changed our clothes in a fairly public corner of the park. Don’t tell anyone okay?
