Dos Picos Park Wedding in Ramona with Laura and Bill

Laura and Bill found me via a Google search (I love it when I just pop up in someone’s Google Hitlist). After a little bit of phone tag we spoke, hooked up and I was blessed to photograph this ‘amazing’ wedding. It was a bit hot that day – about 102 with what seemed like 95% humidity! Yet, Laura arrived in a stunning wedding dress that basically said “Don’t care how hot it is ‘cuz I am marrying my man!”. And that she did. With a wonderful ceremony officiated by Bethel Nathan (Ceremonies by Bethel) –  which incorporated items I’d not seen in quite a while – a good time was had by all!

The afternoon reception was rockin’ to the beats of San Diego’s Favorite DJ Scott Butler under a massive outdoor gazebo where food was served up by Phil’s BBQ and guests enjoyed the always fun Fotobox! Below are some highlights from our Dos Picos Park Wedding. Congratulations Laura & Bill!!

Venue: Dos Picos Park, Ramona, California

“The Mediterrano”

Last year I filmed a project for a new business named “Gro Cafe”. This business was the brainchild of Maria Sparks the owner of Cork & Platter .  During the filming she made this wonderful sandwich named ‘The Mediterrano’, which has grilled eggplant, roasted red peppers, pesto, tabouli, feta and avocado. A few weeks ago Maria told me that she was entering this creation into a competition and if I still had the raw footage of her making the Mediterrano if I could edit something together to enhance her submission. Since I hold on to footage for a few years I was able to bring in the needed scenes and cut this short ‘sandwich teaser’ below.
